Action for Healthy Kids 2018-2019 School Grants are now accepting applications (through April 6, 2018). Apply for funding in one of the following areas:
Thanks to our school breakfast grants, schools have served more than 58 million new school breakfasts since 2009. Nearly 250 schools will receive grant awards of $2,000 or $3,000 to support increased breakfast participation with new alternative breakfast programs, including breakfast in the classroom or grab and go. Award amounts will be determined based on a school’s ability to provide breakfast at no charge for all students. To be eligible for the Start Up grant funding, schools must participate in the National School Breakfast Program and have a free and reduced percentage of 40% or greater. Schools previously funded for breakfast efforts will be invited to apply for Sustainability/Expansion grants of $1000.
Schools are encouraged to complete our Eligibility Survey prior to starting an application.
