Which Soil is the Best Home for Carrots?

This is a carrot lesson for K-3rd graders. The lesson plan focuses on the different varieties of soil types and asks students to make observations, hypotheses, and perform an experiment. At the conclusion of the lesson students will be asked to create a “How to Grow a Carrot” guide.
