Youth Climate Action Now: Climate and Food Justice

Hear youth climate activist Ollie Perrault in this workshop that explored environmental justice and how climate impacts play out in communities’ access to healthy food. This workshop also examined youth empowerment and the importance of youth voices in this evolving conversation, climate change solutions both big and small from composting and eating local to joining a climate action group that addresses climate policy on a systemic level, how to have inclusive conversations around climate intersectionality, the role that art and creativity has to play in combating climate change, as well as how you can get involved and start working to save the future of our planet. This workshop is beneficial to anyone interested in hearing about these issues from the perspective of young people that have grown up in the climate crisis.
