Applesauce Oatmeal

Serving: 50 servings (1/2 cup)

Ingredients

  • 10 cups of Oats, instant or quick cooking
  • 5 quarts of Water
  • 1 TB of Cinnamon, ground
  • 1-1/4 tsp of Nutmeg, ground
  • 1 TB + 2 tsp of Vanilla extract
  • 1-1/4 cups of Brown Sugar
  • 2-1/2 cups of Applesauce

Steps

  1. Boil the water, add oats, cook 7 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed.
  2. Add applesauce, heat through.
  3. Remove from heat. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and brown sugar. Mix and serve. Add more spice as desired.
